Hey there! I'm FieryExplosion, a guy who very much enjoys playing video games, reading fanfiction, and spending way too much time cooped up on my computer. I've been on DeviantART since February 2015, and though I'm not the most active or popular guy around, I like to think that I've carved out a comfortable little niche here. I specialize in a variety of things around here, none of which are really 'traditional artwork', so to say: sprite work, fanfiction, and TF/TG content.

In terms of sprites, I specialize in recreating UI and menu elements from across various franchises: most commonly, Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Kirby, and Kingdom Hearts. Occasionally, I even create mock-ups demonstrating how to use them, which you guys should really refer to if you're not just using reference footage from the actual games themselves. I'm don't make these as often as I used to, but there's still quite the collection for you all to peruse—and maybe even use in your own fan games; I don't mind, so long as you give me credit somewhere in there.

I also host my own gag-a-day sprite comic, Epicly Random: A Sonic Comic, here (since SmackJeeves closed down and I'm too lazy to fully migrate it to ComicFury). Check it out, maybe! It's got 100+ issues and some really fun character interactions. It's been on indefinite hiatus since 2018, as a result of my wanting to pivot toward other things, but making it was great while it lasted. Consider it a charming blast to the past, to when sprite comics were king on the Internet.

Writing fanfiction has been my most passionate hobby for several years now, with my preferred franchises being Super Mario Bros., Kirby, Persona, and Danganronpa, though I'm not remiss to branching out every now and again. I have a number of one-off and connected fics alike, with the Make a Friend (Kirby) and Nothing is Decided Entirely by Fate series (Mario) being my two biggest examples of the latter. They don't get a whole lot of activity here as compared to FFN and AO3, but since this place is my repository for almost all of my content, I figure I might as well cross-post them here, too.

Easily my most prolific work on this site, however, is my library of TF/TG literature (which invariably involves boys turning into girls), in the form of both captions and long-form fics. I primarily write them using characters from various fandoms, with my three most preferred ones being Persona, Danganronpa, and Kingdom Hearts – though as of late, I've been more willing to write some self-insert TF/TGs as well. I put together the caps using RaZupaN's Caption Creator, which—while definitely aged—is a handy and convenient tool to have.

My upload schedule is extremely erratic, essentially being the old axiom of "whenever it's done, and/or I feel like it". My motivation ebbs and flows with the weather and the state of my life, but nevertheless, I do my best to stay committed to what I start. If you can stick around in spite of that, then I'm sure you'll be delighted by what I have to offer. This place has been my primary stomping grounds for over eight years, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.
